The presence in Fitur 2011 is required by the industry costasoleño given the historical importance of British tourist to this land. The Madrid and domestic tourists in general, is key to the economy of Andalusia and the Costa del Sol Andalusia.

Just where Andalusia meets the sea you will find the city of Málaga and its Costa del Sol, the magnificent coast warmed by the Andalusian sun and caressed by soft Mediterranean breezes. Thanks to its 160 kilometres of coastline, the province of Málaga offers all the variety of beaches provided with countless facilities, and an exceptional climate which allows the visitor to enjoy them practically all the year round.

However, the Costa del Sol is much more than the sun and the beaches, taking into acount its cultural heritage with Picasso as its main artistic reference. The Picasso Museum in Málaga thas is among the main picture galleries in the world, and the painter’s Birth House Museum have served to revive the painter´s figure.
The historic center of Málaga preserves the imprint of more than 3,000 year old human settlement, with the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Gibralfaro Castle and the Málaga Cathedral which bear witness to this precious legacy. Special mention should be made of two monumental cities, Ronda and Antequera, whose history and unique character inspire a magical quality hovering between reality and legend, as well as the picturesque white villages scattered in the interior of the province.
The Costa del Sol is renowned world-wide as the leading leisure and incentive destination in the Southern Spain. Together with its excellent hotel infrastructure, the destination offers endless entertainment possibilities, more than 60 golf courses, stunning landscapes and all the best from Andalusia with its fascinating historical legacy, its gastronomy and local traditions and, of course, the warm hospitality of its people.
